May 12, Bethlehem, Pa. – Amy Zanelli, candidate for Lehigh County Commissioner District 3, and a group of Lutheran Manor residents couldn’t be happier thatBethlehem City Police Chief Mark DiLuzio said officers will monitor the traffic and the crossing for the seniors and disabled on Westgate Dr. at Bathgate Rd. as the intersection is assessed for a traffic light or safety crossing signals.

Zanelli Tells Allentown NAACP Members Her Advocacy for Minorities Make Her Best Candidate for Lehigh County Commissioner  

April 18, Bethlehem, Pa. – Amy Zanelli, candidate for Lehigh County Commissioner District 3, was among a group of state and local candidates who presented their platforms Tuesday night to the Allentown Branch of the NAACP.  About 100 gathered at the Days Inn in Hanover Township to hear from the candidates running in the May 16th Pennsylvania Primary Election.

April 7, Bethlehem, Pa. – Amy Zanelli, candidate for Lehigh County Commissioner District 3, joined Pennsylvania State Senator Lisa Boscola and three female elected officials who urged students at Moravian College to “be bold,” get involved, and think about running for office. 

“America is still really, really uncomfortable with women as strong, intelligent, powerful leaders,” Zanelli told students.

The primary is approaching on May 16, in which we will nominate candidates for Lehigh County commissioner for the third district. If you want the best for the future of Lehigh County, there is only one choice in the Democratic primary: Amy Zanelli.

Zanelli believes in protecting the county's most valuable asset: its people. She has a proven track record of community advocacy and engagement that she will bring to the commissioner position for county residents, from toddlers to the elderly. She has served professionally as an in-home counselor for at-risk families, as well as personally as a volunteer with underprivileged youths at various organizations. She has also volunteered with senior citizens organizations throughout the county.

 Amy Zanelli has dedicated her life to helping families, protecting children and working with senior citizens. She worked tirelessly for nearly ten years in human services alongside the criminal justice system, the two areas that comprise 70% of Lehigh County's budget. She possesses degrees and certifications in Forensics, Sociology, Criminology, Substanse Abuse, Mental Illness, Domestic Violence, and more. This knowledge, combined with her community activism experience as a union shop steward, and volunteer work with seniors and underprivileged youth, make her the most qualified candidate to prepresent Distict 3. She resides with her wife and children in West Bethlehem.
